Why we chose TASCAM Portacapture X8 to record rain sounds

Using TASCAM Portacapture X8, we recorded the sounds of a thunderstorm at Goshoji Temple in Utazu Town, Kagawa Prefecture. We will introduce an example of how we were able to record everything from light rain to thunder naturally without any distortion.

A cherry blossom spot discovered by chance - the "unexpected sound of rain" created by a spring storm

On the day I visited Niimiya Pond to photograph the cherry blossoms in full bloom, I encountered an unexpected thunderstorm. The sound of the rain and the gusts of wind echoing through the rest area produced some unexpected footage. Here we introduce the extraordinary scenery that the spring storm in the Seto Inland Sea brought to life.
