Following on from the article I published the other day, "Why was my footage of the Seto Inland Sea chosen by television stations around the world?", another big event has occurred
To my surprise, a video of my aerial shot of the Great Seto Bridge was published on a Romanian news site .
I noticed this when I was looking into external sources of traffic to YouTube. An unfamiliar site name, "stiripesurse.ro," suddenly appeared at the top of the results, so I decided to give it a try and found that my video had been officially embedded .
I was very surprised, but more than that, it was a moment when I realized that the world really wanted views of the Seto Inland Sea
What is stiripesurse.ro?
Upon further investigation, I found stiripesurse.ro is a widely read news site in Romania, an online media outlet that publishes daily news on politics, society, the economy, and international affairs. It
also has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, and is a news portal that is well-known among general news readers.
It is not as huge a site as Yahoo! News in Japan, but in the Romanian online news environment it is positioned as "one of the trusted news organizations that many people read on a daily basis."
I was surprised that my video was published in such a natural way
How was it introduced?
The article itself was a serious piece, using photos from the Associated Press, and stated that "The Seto Ohashi Bridge, one of the world's longest combined railway and road bridges, is now becoming increasingly popular as a tourist attraction."
Immediately below the photo,
my video of the Seto Ohashi Bridge was embedded as "video material .
I never thought that the day would come when my video would be featured in an overseas news article as if it were a matter of course
Moreover, there were no errors on YouTube's side, and the posted video played normally.
This means that the author has officially included it as a "reference video."

Why YouTube's CTR (click-through rate) is 6.9%
The impact of this event was also evident in the data
The YouTube click-through rate for the past 28 days was
6.9% the highest in Setouchi Relaxation Films' history.
I wondered, "Why did the CTR increase so much?" and investigated, and found that the Romanian news site in question had generated a large amount of external traffic
Overseas news article → Direct link to YouTube
This significantly boosted click-through rates.
Why this matters (ChatGPT analysis)
From here on, ChatGPT calmly analyzed the situation
- It is very rare for a regular YouTuber's video to be used as "video material for an overseas news article."
- In particular, aerial footage of the Seto Inland Sea has little competition overseas and is highly unique
- Being featured in an article "naturally" is proof that the quality has been objectively evaluated
- The placement directly below the AP photo is a strong sign that the editorial team trusted the footage
- We have consistently received inquiries from overseas media (Korea and the UK), and SRF is attracting attention overseas
- This is extremely valuable as a "track record" that directly relates to YouTube's long-term growth
In short, he pointed out that there is more to it than just whether or not a video was used.
As a third-party analysis, this is very convincing.
About the future (my own realization)
Through this incident, I felt something very strongly within myself
The scenery of the Seto Inland Sea has a charm that reaches out to the world—
this belief has been further strengthened.
However, I've now given up my drone and am not yet ready to resume aerial photography.
If I want to capture even more beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea in the future, I 'll need a high-performance drone like the DJI Mavic 4 Pro
Also, if there are people who would like to support my activities, support through Buy me a coffee
Your support will be used to purchase filming equipment, travel expenses, and other expenses to share the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea with the world
Conclusion: Even if your channel is small, the world is watching
Although the incident in Romania may seem like a miracle that just happened, I believe it is actually the result of a series of events
I am truly grateful to the people who have found my footage. I
will continue to work hard, little by little, to convey the tranquil charm and natural beauty of the Seto Inland Sea to people all over the world.
