In May 2025, there are many days when it rains in the Setouchi region. As of May 14th, when I was writing this article, it has been raining almost every day since May began. It's truly a blessing for someone like me who makes videos of rain sounds. Well, the latest move at this point...

I discovered a famous cherry blossom spot by chance at Niimiya Pond in Kagawa Prefecture. I'll be sharing some rare ASMR footage filmed during a spring storm and thunderstorm, as well as the beauty of the silence brought by the sound of rain, on my blog.

After finishing my filming in Kobe, I returned to Takamatsu City. Filming ended early in the morning around 4am, and I was unsure whether to take the Shinkansen flight that departs at 6am, or take the jumbo ferry that sails from Kobe Port at 8:15am. Reserved seats can be filled with the Shinkansen reservation app "EX", which can be used late at night...

Filming of the next video ended around 3:30am on March 28th, 2025. The cherry blossoms in Shin-Kobe, just a little north of Sannomiya, the central city of Kobe, seemed to be in half of the flower.
